The client is a premier company in embedded systems and solutions. The client had a Point of Sale solution for large retail houses. It was wifi enabled and wanted a solution to synchronize with the retailers application data like available inventory, pricing, promotional discounts etc. 

Challenge -

Envizon engaged with the client and designed a delimited filed based integration with the POS solution. Envizon helped them optimized delimited file formats that the POS machine would send over a wifi network on to a server. Envizon helped them zero down on a B2B adaptor that they used to convert the Flat file data into the format required by the Retailer's application. Envizon enabled the client to achieve this in record time and the POS clients would always be synched up with the Retailer's applications in near real time.

We recommended a solution for B2B integration that would support EDI standards and XML based integration which opened up a wide range of market that the client could address.
