The client is a leading provider of Data Mapping, Data Integration solution and Electronic Data Solutions (EDI). The client had a very robust and powerful EDI translator for small business. Their product is being used in over 2,000 companies world-wide for their EDI every day. EDI translators are built to handle various electronic business documents of various formats. The customers for this product expressed a need for an easier and faster way of managing their in-bound purchase orders and their outbound shipments. The client came up with the idea of an Add on product which would be designed to work specifically with purchase orders and would work in conjunction with their existing EDI product to send shipment documents automatically. The client decided to create a new, easy to use interface along with a powerful set of features that made the product ideal for both small and large companies.

Challenge - The requirement was for the product to be a simple and user friendly interface which would require even a non EDI expert to operate easily. The product needed to be easily installable and would seamlessly integrate with existing EDI product. The product needed to be out in the market in record time.
